I have to admit, I didn''t expect much from a small piece of plastic, and I wasn''t really sure what it was for; but I thought what the heckIll give it a try.

I bought this to go with our Nalgene 48oz Tritan Bottle. It fits perfect. It sits just inside the mouth opening perfectly. It doesn''t fall in or out, but its easily removed for washing. Its dishwasher safe.

The whole idea of this is to pack your Nalgene with ice, take a drink, and avoid getting a face full of ice. It does its job perfectly. Its easy to drink through, in fact I prefer having it in then not.

Look, just buy it. Its cheap, high quality, it will last forever, and if you like ice, you can''t live without this.

I wrote my original review on this product in December 2010. I''ve now owned this product for a total of 1 year, 9 months.

This splashguard fits in all of our 32oz to 48oz Nalgene containers. It still fits, operates and looks as good as the day I received it. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and the price I paid. This is definitely a highly recommend product by me.

These things are amazing. I have been dribbling water all over myself like a baby for the past 8 years every time I take a sip from my nalgene. But never again! They fit super snug but aren''t too hard to pull out when you need to fill the bottle back up. Nalgene should really include one of these with every bottle they sell.

The guyot slash guard is the best that I have seen for a nalgene bottle. It fits snugly and doesn''t come out until you want it to. It is a thousand times better than the nalgene splash guard due to the hole at the top and the bottom to allow for air flow and water drainage.

This product is perfect to keep back ice and avoid too large oof mouthfuls. I would recommend it as a necessitity for anyone that owns a nalgene bottle.

I love this splashguard with my Camelbak bottle using the classic cap. No plastic smell or taste and it washes great in the dishwasher silverware tray.

I bought another one of these but made out of silicone and would definitely suggest that. These are nice, but the silicone ones fit in better and aren''t such a pain to put it. Not bad, but hard plastic might not be the way to go.
