Nathan Trek 22-Ounce Angled Holster Hydration Waist PackI purchased this waist pack for cycling and running. I used it for the first time today for both, and it was great. As the other reviewers mentioned, it stayed in place well, did not bounce around while I was going (either for running, walking, or cycling), and the water bottle stayed in place very well. The water bottle itself was a good size and easy to grab. The pack itself stayed in place comfortably both around my waist and also low on my hips. Very comfortable. The best part was the pocket. I chose this product over some others because some of the others were reviewed to have a pretty small pocket. This one fit my cell phone (iPhone), a credit card, a set of keys, lip balm, an ID, and still had plenty of room. I could have fit several more things in this, but I just didn''t need to. Perfect size pocket! It also breathed well and didn''t make my back all sweaty (any more than any other part of me).

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a comfortable way to carry some water and a few things while out exercising.

I recently started increasing my running mileage and found that hydration could not wait until I got back to my car. That is when the hunt for the perfect hydration belt began.

The Nathan Trek 22 oz. holster had a lot of good reviews. Which was the ultimate reason why I bought it. It was supposed to "not bounce up and down" and be ideal for runs longer than 5 miles but under 10 miles. I found that the it did indeed bounce around a lot and actually twisted as I ran. It required adjusting pretty frequently. It could very well be that I do not have the ideal tapered waist but one would think that some of my fat rolls could hold it still.

The angle of the water bottle is nice and easy to grasp while in motion. And the pocket is large enough to hold my cell phone, car keys and some gum or chap stick. My water or beverage of choice would stay cold for around 2 hours on a hot day, thanks to the insulation. To keep the bottle from bouncing out of the belt, there is a rubberband-like strap that goes over the mouthpiece and will require some coordination as you try to put it back in its place and secure it while running.

(Although I''m in the market for another hydration belt, I will admit that this one is perfect for my long bike rides. It didn''t seem to move around as much.)

Overall, I don''t recommend this belt for a serious runner. It would probably be more ideal for a long distance walker.

I tried this hydration belt for the first time today and at first I did not like the feeling of something bouncing up and down behind me during an eleven-mile run. After adjusting the belt so that it fits really snug around my waist, it felt like there was nothing there at all! I like the fact that there''s only one bottle. I''ve thought about purchasing the Nathan hydration belt with 2 or 4 flasks, but I don''t want to have to think about which bottle to drink from first, then second, etc. That''s too much to think about when you''re running and you''re tired. I''ve tried the Camelbak but I don''t like the taste of the water mixed with plastic. I think this one''s a keeper!!!

I bought this in need of storage (apartment keys) and enough water for me and my dog while out on an hour run. I had to tighten the belt almost to the point of inability to breath, and the pack STILL bounces. When the water bottle is close to empty it''s tolerable but considering you wear it to bring water with you it really doesn''t work. Now if you use it for walking it works great, and you can be reassured that the water bottle doesn''t fall out or leak and the storage pocket is perfect size for cell phone, lots of keys, and poop bags but if you want to use it for running forget it :(

The tote is great. Belt fits very well, quality of materials is nice. Has a small storage compartment big enough for keys or a small i-pod (not a larger one like a classic) with hole for head phone.

If you use the plastic water bottle that comes with it, it works perfect. If you try and use a regluar store bought water bottle, it works too because even though the unit sits on your hip on an angle, there is a small cord to put over the cap of a regular water bottle to keep it in place while you exercise, walk etc. Excellent procut.
