Primus Water Bottle 1.0L Titanium P-735240

I really liked the design of this bottle particularly the double cap because I do like having a wide opening for filling but the small top for drinking means you don''t spill. But upon receiving this bottle I am Greatly Dissapointed. The top is great and all but the item is CLEARLY labeled Titanium, leading at least myself but I''m sure others to believe it is MADE from titanium. NOT THAT IT IS TITANIUM COLORED. The actual bottle is powder coated Aluminum and the Threads on the neck are simply plastic(strong plastic mind you but still plastic). I''m very dissapointed because I was looking for a lightweight Ti water bottle which I could use to boil water in a pinch. This bottle simply won''t due for that purpose. I still give 2 stars because I do really like the cap and will probably keep it just as another water bottle.

I too was duped, only by a different water bottle -the Trudeau Riptide 25 oz. Hydration Bottle. I guess Amazon was counting on people rushing on orders & mistaking Titanium Colored for titanium material! I went back & looked at the product description & I guess it was my mistake. Anyway, I''m not going to send back a $6 product. Buyer Beware.
