We have the Sigg Heritage bottles in gold and black, and we love the traditional look of the bottles. The cap and the bottle both feel solid and made to last. After a little initial washing and use, there is no taste. Water is fresh and tastes great much better than a plastic or stainless steel bottle. The aluminum does transfer heat, however. If you put ice in the bottle with water, it will freeze your hand, and the black colored bottle, especially, will absorb sun rays and heat up. So we got Sigg''s companion neoprene jackets for the bottles. The contents stay cold now for a long time. We''ve had no issues with durability. The bottles stand up to all normal abuse.

I have owned this Sigg for about one yearcan''t imagine owning anything else from here on out. Cool look, functions greatno leaks, easy to carry, durable. Great finish on the product. Really like the cap design on this model, makes for easy carrying and not as tall as the other cap design. Couple items to note: bottle is very temperature sensitive, in that if you put cold water in here, the outside will be cold to the touchsame applies for hot, (this is important to note as I rinse mine out every couple of days with really hot water and outside of the bottle becomes very hot to the touchrecommend holding it with a towel). Also, I''ve seen mixed reviews about carrying this onto an airplaneI just completed travel with American, Alaska and Hawaiian airlinesall of which allowed me to carry this on, as long as it was emptythen filled it up from a drinking fountain once past security.
