Well, the bottle and nipple looks great and is sturdily built. It, however, doesn''t work.

There is a little silicon valve that is supposed to allow air into the bottle when you suck from the sipper/mouthpiece but it doesn''t open so it creates a vacuum inside. The result is you can''t any water from it. If you really give it a good suck it will suck the silicon valve inside, which allows you to draw as much water as you want. Problem is it also allows water to leak/flow out when you lay the bottle on its side making essentially useless when traveling. If you kept it always upright, it would be great but it is essentially a glass w/ a straw.

Gaiam has add-on tops for their water bottles but this line of water bottles is different from all their other lines so those caps won''t fit. They claim their lids for stainless steel bottles fit all their stainless steel bottles but they won''t fit this one. It has very different threads.

Poorly designed bottle It gets two stars because you can use it as a water glass.
