Nalgene Wide Mouth Cantene (32-Ounce) Save 3% off

Nalgene Wide Mouth CanteneI love these bottles! They fold flat and roll up for storage in backpack or camping gear. The bottom has an accordion fold that opens up when you fill the bottle, allowing it to stand up securely. They have a wide mouth lid that screws off, allowing it to be washed thoroughly and totally dried before storage. It has a sippy top that makes it easy to drink on the trail without messing with a lid or spilling water, and the loop makes it easy to attach the bottle to your pack. They are reasonably priced and made from thick, durable material.

And most of all, I like that these bottles are USA made by Nalgene meaning they are BPA free and made to last. We have six of them in different sizes, and have enjoyed using all of them.

This prodcut is great. It saves a ton of unnecssary weight. The only con is it''s not really meant to last forever and I''d personally replace it after a year of use. The opening works fine nalgene compatible water filters AKA MSR Microworks

I wanted a water bottle I could take on the go and fold up and put in my purse when I''m done. It folds up fairly small, but the mouth is big so it doesn''t fold up tiny. Still works if I have a big purse (which I usually do). However it''s kind of hard to hold and drink out of because its flimsy even when filled with water. I tried to drink out of it while standing on a subway train and it was difficult. It''s also clear, not shiny like in the picture. Someone commented it looked like I was holding an IV bag.

I use Nalgene bottles all the time and they are usually great. This is just a bad design. Mine had a leak in the corner where the bag seals to the hard plastic rim so I''m sending it back. And after seeing it, I wouldn''t trust it not to leak in my backpack or anywhere else. It''s just not as thick as you would expect it to be.
