Reliance Products Replacement Spigot Assembly for Reliance Water ContainersI am basing my review on the spigot that came with my Reliance water containers, and not the replacement spigot. I bought an extra spigot just in case but because the original spigot is so well made, I haven''t needed the replacement. That''s as much a recommendation as anything else I could say.

The spigots are made of hard plastic which close securely without drips. The inner silicone gasket ensures a tight seal. Because the spigot assemblies come in separate pieces, you can turn the spigot part inwards, to be stored INSIDE the water container. This keeps it clean and protects it from being bumped in storage.

I am very happy with both the Reliance water storage containers and these spigots.

My original shut off value was cracked and leaking. This is a perfect fit, no leaks, just take off the old and put on the new..

It''s just a spare spigot for our water jugs. We haven''t had one fail yet (on 3 tanks), but better safe than sorry. And, the price is low enough to make having a spare easy.

Needed to replace broken piece on 7 gallon water jug from same brand, same piece, worked as expected. Nice to be able to obtain a replacement part vs. having to replace entire jug.

Replaces our well water for drinking, beverages (tea, coffee). I bought 2 of these in the 2.5 gall version several years ago. They are identical, just smaller. I fill them with Culligan purified water @ the local SMKT (0.29/gall). In both jugs the spigots levers have become increasingly difficult to turn. This morning I stopped short of breaking off the lever attempting to turn it. I''ve had the spigot apart twice to clean and found nada to clean. I e-mailed customer service and have heard nothing after a week. Anyone know of a safe food grade lubricant (silicon oil, vaseline) that might work? I just found this replacement spigot, hmmmmmmm....
