Buy Sigg Sport Top with ABT Base for Sigg Water Bottles Now
I bought two sigg bottles from wholefoods. I really loved the ABT sport top until I dropped them. Now it''s stuck in the open position. So I will replace it with the other sport top, that doesn''t have the fancy mechanism, which will hopefully be tougher and not break on impact.Read Best Reviews of Sigg Sport Top with ABT Base for Sigg Water Bottles Here
I''ve been using this type of sport top for about a year now since I bought my first SIGG. I''m really quite happy with it. It''s an ingenius design. I know this sounds geeky but I especially admire it when I take it apart for cleaning. I agree that pushing with the teeth to drink is difficult. I end up holding the white part down with my fingers as I drink, and the flow is excellent! I do this a lot when I''m driving. I imagine it won''t be too difficult with other activities. The only complaint I have is, after several months of use, the rubber coating at the top of the white piece came off. So now the tight seal around the "nipple" is gone, it will leak if the bottle is laying sideways. So I bought a replacement. The new piece doesn''t leak at all. It really doesn''t matter if the nipple is in the locked position or not. It DOES NOT leak! I would''ve given it a 5 star if my first one hadn''t become damaged after light proper use.Want Sigg Sport Top with ABT Base for Sigg Water Bottles Discount?
Leaving aside the issue of Sigg''s multi-year deception of its customers about using BPA in its bottle lining, the design of the sport cap is atrocious. The only indication one has that the nipple is either open or closed is by close inspection with good backlighting to see if the nipple is above the cap or flush with it. The twist mechanism to open and close the nipple easily twists itself when put in a bag with lots of other items pressing on it, especially if the bottle is laid horizontally. I was quite happy to switch to Klean Kanteen and their sport top, even though I have to puff out my cheeks like a chipmunk to avoid the "bird whistle" effect. At least this sport top stays closed.
