Timbuk2 Clipper Women''s Tote Bag

My new favorite. The tote I received was all black with dark gray zipper and stitching (the photo shown when I placed my order appears to have gray trim around the exterior pocket). The handles are short which I prefer, because often times, with handles for over the shoulder use, the bag drags on the ground when held in hand. Detachable shoulder strap extends to wear cross-body. Double 2-way zipper pulls. There are two "straps" on each side I haven''t a clue yet what they''re for. A big enough bottle pocket on one end of the interior keeps your bottle upright. One large zip pocket along the inside wall and three smaller pockets on the other (one with key fob, one open and one flapped). iPhone in a case fits with no slack. The only thing I dislike is the abrasive pseudo-velcro used to secure the pocket flaps. Getting pricked on the needle-sharp hook-side is painful. The whole thing flattens for storage. It''s a great bag, but $80-85 is way overpriced for what it is.

I am sorry to report... am submitting a revised review after several months of ownership with occasional use: Reduced from 5 to 2 stars for lack of durability. Still overpriced for what it is. Still a favorite. Still the perfect size. Removed the needle-sharp hook & loop closure tape. The two-way zipper is now a one-way zipper when zipper head went off its track. On closer examination, the stitching on the end-stop was so loose, that it was only a matter of time it gave way. On my word, my tote was used on occasion, never stuffed to capacity, never held anything of serious weight, nor used in a rough manner or abused. It''s just not made very well. Fortunately I''m handy with needle and thread, understand sewing construction dynamics, and I can repair it.

Great style, nice tote bag if you can find it at half-price, that''s about all it''s worth. I really love this bag, just seriously disappointed with the shoddy craftsmanship.

I am in love with this bag. I walk to work and carry a lot of stuff with me. I was using just regular messenger style purses before and I would keep getting a sore back or neck. My mother-in-law told me about this bag and how much she loved it. It is very sturdy and distributes the weight in the back evenly so that it does not hurt your body and makes what you are carrying feel much lighter. It has a million pockets which is very useful. The only thing I am not happy with is the front pocket has a Velcro patch and it is uber loud when you open it. So be warned, if you are in a meeting or in class, it will be audible when you open it up. It holds a lot of things as well. Perfect when traveling to carry an ipad/kindle and all that stuff

I have the brown one and the colour is richer in person. It actually looks like a fairly classic brown purse which awesome. I requested the indi grey/yellow one for my birthday and they just added purple and a redish colour to the mix and I can''t wait to think of an occasion to buy one of those.

I love this bag! After having my second child, I wanted to find a bag that didn''t look like a diaper bag. This really fulfills everything I want in a bag.

It''s roomy. It has an outside pocket to drop my lip gloss and cell phone. There''s a large inside zipper pocket, along with other compartment pockets to put little snacks, hair ties, tissues, whatever you like, and a key fob. There''s an inside pocket to put your water bottle (or baby''s bottle) as well. I throw in my little zippered pouch that fits diapers and wipes. Plus, it''s a great color!

This bag is great for those who want a nice looking bag that doesn''t look like a kiddie diaper bag. The only con that I would say is that the front pocket is velcro, and can be really loud when you open it.

I received this bag for my birthday and I absolutely love it. It is the perfect size for ipad and a notebook or legal pad, extremely light weight which I also love. It is made well and I think it will last a long time.

I love this bag. I bought it to use as a purse and airplane carry-on. I would have rated the bag higher if it had a padded pocket for my iPad and it weren''t quite so floppy. It doesn''t have a base or any type of firmness in the bottom, so the bag just sort-of "wilts" when not in use. But I love the look and feel and size of the bag and would gladly buy another, should I decide I want an additional color. I''m really pleased with it.
