Cage Rocket Waterproof Storage Bottle Silver/Black

I bought my first one when the Cage Rockets first came out. It was the original non-watertight version. It is mounted on my Cannondale Synapse 1 road bike. The CR is very light weight (like the carbon frame bike) and provides all the storage I need for road trips and training. My other two CR''s are mounted on my old "foul-weather" Sekai road bike (the one with fenders to keep that nasty water stripe from running up my back) and the other is mounted (believe it or not) on my Kubota farm tractor. Both of these vehicles get wet when I use them so I opted for the sealed version of the CR. The CR''s keep the contents nice and dry and provide easy access to what''s inside even when underway. The one on my tractor is primarily for my cigarettes (I know, nasty habit) since I rarely carry my cell phone and car keys when working on the tractor. Love the design of the units. Simple, easy to use, light weight and extremely rugged. I would highly recommend the Cage Rocket to anybody who needs to carry extra "stuff" on the move and keep it nice and dry.

As with most folks that engage in outdoor activities like hiking, biking and kayaking, where to safely carry items like keys, wallet, cellphone and other items has always been a problem. I use my cage rocket mostly for biking as it fits nicely in the extra water-bottle cage I have on my mountain and road bike. The coolest part of using the cage rocket for the extra storage is I can do without having to carry a pack on day excursions. It is light, waterproof, and padded inside, I''ve even dropped it a couple times and no problems. The clip on the outside allows you attach it to the cords on the front of a kayak for easy access to a camera and cellphone. Multi-purpose, well worth the price.

I''m sending mine back. I am going to order the Tacx water bottle tool kit. This is just cheap plastic with a cheap looking metal clip on the back. It may work great. But . . . I found it too large. It couldn''t have cost more than 25 cents to make.

The Cage Rocket storage bottle is perfect for those bike riders who have small pets and want to store them somewhere snug and safe while riding. I have a pet gerbil I stuff in here and it works well. Plenty of room.
