Two-Fish makes great stuff. I have never had an issue with anything that I have gotten from them including a U-lock holder, helmet cam holder, pump holder and this cage holder. I only wish I could find them locally.

I have this Quick Cage Adapter mounted to the seat stay of my recumbent road bike and it holds a full 24 ounce Polar water bottle no problem. In fact, this weekend I was riding and my water bottle fell off after hitting a bump, when I checked I found that my carbon fiber bottle cage had broken while the Two-Fish holder was still holding just fine. Another reviewer commented that they didn''t hold, I am not sure what problem he had, it is possible that he either didn''t install it correctly or did not pull the strap tight enough. Properly installed (it is not that difficult) this adapter will hold your bottle cage in a kung-fu death grip. The tube I have it mounted to is vertical and when I first installed it the adapter slid down the tube a little during my ride. I just used a rag to wipe the wax off on the frame where I was mounting the cage and it hasn''t moved since.

By the way, I recommend not installing the bottle where it is going to be in your way while riding because then it will...(wait for it)...be in your way. This however would not be the holder''s fault.

I also like the fact that since only rubber and a Velcro strap contact the frame there is little chance of damage to the bike''s finish. The strap is plenty long enough to go around just about any tubing size including some non-round carbon fiber frames.

If you need to mount a water bottle somewhere on your bike where there are no braze-ons, the Two-Fish Quick Cage Adapter is great way to go!

This does what it says it will, as it allows you to add a water bottle to a top tube or some other part of your bike that doesn''t have bottle cage mounts. Depending on the type of riding you do however, it can be a challenge to have it stay alighned. I had one mounted on the top tube of my XL mountain bike for longer training rides in summer, but eventually had to remove it as it would never stay true, and the bottle would end up slipping arond the top tube and sticking out sideways. If you just cruise along bike paths and take your riding pretty easy, I''m sure this would work just fine.
