This bottle is great in theory, and as a regular water bottle works great (despite its small size for a bigger child). However, I got it with my small toddler in mind something she could use now and transition into later with the sippy spout. Unfortunately, with the sippy spout barely any water came out at all and she just got frustrated and upset at not being able to drink from it, so we gave up on that idea and just made it into a regular sports bottle for my older kids.
