As the other reviewer noted it is probably the best for shower water. Leave it the sun and let it heat up and you have hot water. You could also bring the water into the tent as a hot water bottle.
disclaimer. first time use.
will report back if anything changes.
Update:
water had a definite rubber taste at 12 hrs after filling it. I believe the term is vulcanized rubber. The other reviewer that likened these to automotive inner tubes glued on either end described these perfectly. I''d say they have all the qualities and drawbacks of car inner tubes that hold water. They are extremely durable, they smell of vulcanized rubber in a pungency characteristic of military surplus.
I got four of these from cheaperthandirt to refill my boat''s water tank during the winter. I used these a number of times to fill from a hose and dump in a funnel, in freezing weather. For that, they work. The cap that screws off also has a built-in spigot that releases water on pushing a white button, but that spigot is mostly for show, it takes a lot of pressure to get a little water.
The rope handles, spigot, and bag itself are very tough. Filled with water, this thing weighs 35 lbs. I felt no problem throwing a full bag onto a hard surface, and none of mine show damage. If you''re filling with water often, i suggest you cut the end off a hose and jam it down the mouth of the thing, as the rubber tends to flex the opening shut inside the bag. Water you run through this will taste of rubber. Although the taste diminishes with use, it''s inevitable. A brita filter will fix this.
I think for a place to keep emergency water, or a way to transport water in 5 gal sections, this is a good way to go.

This is the real deal! I have those plastic collapsible water containers. While they do work they are a failure waiting to happen. For a few bucks more you can have a world class water container that can double as a camp shower.I have six of these I have bought over the past 6 years . They are tough, easy to fill, don''t leak, and with the rope handles easy to move or fill. I have used these for emergency water, hang in the Sun for a hot shower, camping, and to water a remote garden I have due to drought . I can lay two of these filled on my front 4 wheeler rack, two in the rear basket then ride uphill and down, at a reasonable speed, without tying down . Can put all 6 in a cart and transport with ATV also. Best portable water container I''ve ever used . BudKs price of $10.88 on Amazon is great too, plus they were sent fast and delivered to my door UPS . I have other water containers but these are the best . Would recommend to anyone .
