If you own a Profile Aero drinking system, you should order the replacement parts at the same time. In particular, the rubber band likely won''t last more than one season and it WILL break when you least need it to, and this is a critical part. The mesh is not a critical part, but should be periodically changed just for sanitary reasons (perhaps at the end of the race season). The extra straws might come in handy, if for nothing more than replacing at the end of the season, again for sanitary reasons. For me, I cut the the original straws down because they were too long. But then I changed my aero bars and their height and found the straws were then too short. The extras from this kit (I have the double system so had to buy two kits) were invaluable.

My rubber bands keep snapping, so I was specifically looking to replace those. The straw was a nice touch as mine has warped a little over time, and my sponge keeps unraveling. This was the perfect replacement. It also came with a replacement top, which wasn''t pictured.

I purchased this to replace some of the older worn parts off of my Aero drink, but the cap and lid didn''t fit my older bottle as well as its a little expensive for just the sponge thing, straw and pretty much two elastic bands. You could easily make or find most of this stuff cheaper but I was suckered into purchasing this and I pretty much paid the price.

I''ve had my TT Aero Drink holder now for over a year which has been an indispensable piece to my Tri Bike and figured would "freshen" up the accessories. Nice that Profile supplies all these goodies in one package at a reasonable price (even better so on Amazon). The wetsuit-ish liner at the top seems to have been improved in this new kit as well.

These are the same as the parts that came with the water bottle originally. Nice to have bands that I don''t have to worry about snapping during a race, and a mesh and straw that aren''t filled with algae.
