I bought 3, 1 for me and 2 for a gift. 1 of the 3 arrived without the white gasket (the little white ring that fits in the top so that it''s water-tight and doesn''t stream water out of the sides when you attempt to drink from it). I searched through tons of hardware stores trying to find something to use as a replacement, and eventually found someone from Sigg customer service to contact. Unfortunately, they had so little support for their ridiculously expensive product that the representative actually told me I would have to contact her by phone, and then pay for the part and shipping and handling, even though THEY were the ones who sent me a defective product. It wasn''t terribly expensive to buy the replacement, but it was such a bad experience with the lack of responsibility they showed in their product support that I went to CVS and picked up a slightly smaller metal bottle for only about $1 more than I would have had to pay for the replacement part (and about $30 LESS than I had paid for the Sigg bottle itself). Of course it looks like the Sigg bottles have dropped about $20 in cost since I bought it, so at least the ridiculous price isn''t as much of a factor now.

I accidently ordered this item with the new 1-click ordering option and before I knew it was on my doorstep. :) Oops! I actually love the look of it. The best part is the loop top unscrews for a smaller opening to drink from, but the wide mouth base also unscrews which is great for adding ice & whatever beverage of choice. The downsize is it''s too big to fit in any of the cupholders in our cars. Leaving it to tumble about on a seat, the floor or the console when in route. It is very durable, because of the fact that it won''t stay in a cup holder on more than one occasion it has rolled out of the car and hit the ground. Barely a scratch has shown on the black one I have, I can''t say the same for my aluminum cans.

This bottle rocks . I bought it for rehearsals , because we can not have any open top containers in the theater . Now , I have fresh water from home and don''t have to drink from the fountain , or buy any more plastic bottles of what really is just tap water ( sucks! )

The bottle is rugged and sleek . The exterior shell is aluminum , I think , and the interior is BPA free plastic . It has two well threaded tops . The carrying loop detaches for pouring and both the larger lid and loop come with removable , thick rubber seals . That is very useful for washing ( hand wash only ) as this is where a lot of bacteria hides and can build up a real raunchy smell , if not removed and lightly scrubbed with a soft brush and warm , soapy water . I highly recommend this product .

Where has this bottle been all my life? I enjoy the wide mouth, the great hand feel, the large size for holding enough liquid that satisfies even my serious thirsty habit. I got the Black one so I could be stylish and stealthy.. The smaller mouth opening is great for drinking on the go. I use an cut off knit sleeve to keep liquids colder.

Extremely solid build and no weird tastes no matter how often you leave it in the hot car.

It doesn''t advertise any insulating abilities but it is more effective than a standard plastic water bottle at keeping the contents cool.

My only complaint would be that sometimes it is difficult to thread the cap on when you are being active (bike riding, for example). It can be easy to start threading the cap at an angle and if you aren''t careful you could mess up the threads or leave it half tight and it will leak everywhere. This is only a problem if you are trying to put the cap on while driving or riding or doing something that makes it hard to use two hands.
