I''m a water bottle veteran in search of an every day/in-car solution. I received the Stanley Classic today and it lives up to the hype. It appears very durable and well made, the lid closes snugly, there are no leaks to speak of, it''s aesthetically appealing, and seems to be a veritable long-term solution. With that said, here are a few bits of information you may like to know for a more informed purchase:* The green is notably darker than in the product image.
* This bottle is made in China, not the USA.
* It measures 8cm across the bottom, making it a tight fit for some cup holders.
* Twist & drink design is variable flow depending on how far you twist it.
The bottle comes with a lifetime warranty and (from what I''ve read) responsive customer service. Of course, the tough copolyester Tritan plastic is BPA-free. Both the bottle and lid are dishwasher safe, presumably making any potential build up within the lid''s grooves manageable. My only caution would be that if you plan on using this bottle in a notably dirty or dusty environment, the lid (portion you drink through) has gaps that will collect foreign material. So that would be the only use I would not recommend this bottle for. However, it''s appears to be fantastic for general/every day use and it''s a good value for the price--the fine line between giving it 4 stars and 5 stars. I will return and update this review if anything changes.
