...and this one is the best. The top is very comfortable to drink from, and both the top and the bottle itself are durable, dishwasher-safe, BPA-free, etc. etc. I like this bottle much more than any of the plastic, coated aluminum, or stainless steel bottles I''ve had.

This water bottle is pretty average in most respects but I do like the twist-to-drink cap design because it is splashless and feels like it will ultimately be more durable than the push button type cap on my previous water bottles. The label claims that it''s free of BPA but the fact that it was manufactured in China leaves me skeptical about that. I hope it is indeed BPA free and free of other unknown materials and contaminates. I avoid Chinese manufactured goods and would have appreciated the disclosure of the country of origin prior to making this purchase.

Same style bottle as a Nalgene bottle, but 24 as opposed to 32 oz. Fits conveniently in large cupholders and backpack bottle holders where Nalgene 32oz bottles do not. Drink lid is easy to open with one hand and easy to drink out of.

I''m a water bottle veteran in search of an every day/in-car solution. I received the Stanley Classic today and it lives up to the hype. It appears very durable and well made, the lid closes snugly, there are no leaks to speak of, it''s aesthetically appealing, and seems to be a veritable long-term solution. With that said, here are a few bits of information you may like to know for a more informed purchase:

* The green is notably darker than in the product image.

* This bottle is made in China, not the USA.

* It measures 8cm across the bottom, making it a tight fit for some cup holders.

* Twist & drink design is variable flow depending on how far you twist it.

The bottle comes with a lifetime warranty and (from what I''ve read) responsive customer service. Of course, the tough copolyester Tritan plastic is BPA-free. Both the bottle and lid are dishwasher safe, presumably making any potential build up within the lid''s grooves manageable. My only caution would be that if you plan on using this bottle in a notably dirty or dusty environment, the lid (portion you drink through) has gaps that will collect foreign material. So that would be the only use I would not recommend this bottle for. However, it''s appears to be fantastic for general/every day use and it''s a good value for the price--the fine line between giving it 4 stars and 5 stars. I will return and update this review if anything changes.
