i bought this for the perpous for using it as a cook set pouch. i have a primus eta solo stove it fits with enough room for 2 extra canisters of fuel, not that i would carry that much. but its good to know i have that room if i needed it. the extra space will probably filled with a small sponge and a cloth to wash out my pot... it is insulated.it can hold a two liter or a bottle of wine i have heard. it has d rings, along with a small carry strap on the back. molle attachment points all over it, as well as velcro to put your name or rank or whatever else.
the zipper pouch on the out side has elastic bands to hold things in place. i use it for chop sticks. or other eating utensils.
Over all im very happy with the quality and construction of this product. i think it will serve my needs just fine. although its not really made for it.
