Klean Kanteen Kid''s Stainless Steel Sippy Bottle Save 3% off

We purchased the first version of this Kleen Kanteen sippy cup (trying to steer away from the weirdly shaped plastic versions). We were generally satisfied but it had multiple pieces and our 18 mo. old promptly broke the top ring making it very leaky. This new sippy top for Kleen Kanteen bottles is a great improvement over the first version, doesn''t leak, and seems to be made of a very durable ABS plastic. The "dust cover" is useless since it doesn''t attach to the cup in any way. If you are looking for a sippy cup that will last several children, I would go this route.

Other notes, this top might be a bit hard to clean but what sippy cup isn''t. Easily thrown in the dishwasher. The paint on the bottle has chipped away under much abuse but then of course this is part of the charm and even in this state it looks much better than a scratched up plastic one.

This is a great design overall, except the loop hits my little toddler''s nose when he tries to drink! The proportions of a child''s face need to be considered, and not just adapt the adult version.

The container is pretty, light, and spill proof however it doesn''t have a guard around it in case you want to put hot beverages like tea or milk so the container gets very hot (although the insert once you receive the item states not made for hot beverages, it is not mentioned in the item description). Most importantly, the arched clip area above the spout directly pressed up against my daughter''s nose (not just a little, but ALOT).....it is made incorrectly.

Our son constantly was stealing mommy and daddy''s Kanteen''s and finally I decided to look up if they made kids ones; to my surprise they do! Not only that but leak proof sippy cup lids!! I remember telling my wife that I bet someone @ Klean Kanteen had their kids take their Kanteen''s and decided to solve that by making this product.

As per usual with Klean K''s, no freezer time, hot liquids or fizzy drinks. After washing the unit really well, I gave it to the little spud and he carries it EVERYWHERE!! This is a great way to get kids to drink their water. One drawback that I''ll state that some have said on here is that the clip above the spout rams into their nose when they drink. Fear not though, my kid would just spin it around and drink it upside down. Works either way, but hopefully in the future they''ll fix that design feature as some kids may have issues with that.

Overall, great product for the price and again, the kid loves it!

My 14 month old loves this cup. He was able to figure out how to use it within minutes and there is no leaking. I tried to make liquid come out and it took vigorous shaking to get a drop to come out. Great cup, I love that there is no metal taste.(I tried it to make sure before giving to him). The only small issue is that you will need a bottle brush to clean it. I expected this, but my husband was disappointed about it.
