Stainless Steel Water Bottle Sports Cap

Stainless steel bottles are expensive. I found some at 5 below and needed sports caps. Until I found these sports caps, I thought I would have to spend more for the caps than for the bottles.

They work as advertised, cap is tight when closed with rubber vacuum device to allow continuous drinking. (Personally I think you have to suck too hard on the device, but much more expensive caps I have used work the same way.)

The caps fit and work great, and the price is awesome; a-penny-a-piece is hard to beat... except the shipping was OVER TEN BUCKS! Together-Bottle may not be the best option. Don''t be fooled when the "price" is this good.

The sports cap does what it is supposed to do, which is allow you to drink without unscrewing the cap. the design is far from perfect, however. the little rubber-covered hole that is supposed to serve as a pressure relief valve does not work very well. if the cap is screwed on tightly, or even a moderate tightness, it will not let air through without significant suction. there are two solutions to this. strangely enough, pressing down on the rubber over the pressure relief with your finger lets air through while you drink, i don''t know why, but it does.

and the other method, as others have said, is to screw the cap on more loosely. the only problem with this is that there is a very fine line between being loose enough to let air through, and being loose enough to let water through.

overall, it''s an ok product. i probably wouldn''t buy it again.
