Realize, however, it''s too bulky to be placed along a road bike''s seat tube as it will rub against a cyclist''s legs. Instead, this bottle is best suited to be placed in a water bottle holder mounted on the down tube.
***** Update ******
One year later, this bottle is still going strong. I did notice, however, that some water does leak out of the top when squeezing the bottle sometimes. This downgraded my review to 4 stars, but overall I am still impressed with the durability and longevity of this water bottle.

I wanted this bottle in order to be able to carry a few extra ounces of fluid for long rides and now that i have used the bottle a few times I am quite satisfied with the results. The bottle holds a little over a quart and easily fits in the cage on my road bike. A squeezable bottle that quickly returns to form, that is it doesn''t stay kinked like other bottles i have tries
The spout is soft and easy to bite open or closed
I would have preferred white or clear color over black since black heats up a little quicker. All in in all an quality item.My 14 year daughter was so excited to receive this cool looking water bottle with a great feel. Perfect! Unfortunately, when she filled it with water and squeezed the bottle, water leaked from the screw on cap. She was very disappointed. Since this bottle needs to be kept in a crowded gym bag, the risk of it getting "squeezed" and water leaking out was too great ... so it is unuseable. So sad.I owned several "original" Zefal 32oz water bottles for 8+ years and LOVED them. They were the only 32oz water bottle that would fit in a bike cage . I ordered a few new Zefal bottles in hopes of replacing the originals. The new design bottles leak because there is no longer a gasket that comes with the lid. Even with screwing the lid down TIGHTLY, the bottles still leak. I hope Zefal responds to their bad bottle design and returns to the original design that worked so brilliantly.
