I may try another one of their oils, but I don''t think I will purchase this oil again. Sometimes I give them sardines in water, and I think it may better for them. I may also try sardines in oil, once in a while.fabulous product. no fish smell, no leaking dispenser, cat and dog eat it without a blink, my dog''s skin flakes disappeared completely and his coat shines very beautifully.Use this product on all our dogs and it has helped their coats improve immensely!! Less shedding, prevents dry skin, and all of them love the taste. Originally got it for a grain allergy dog and saw what an improvement it made in his skin and coat and decided to try it on all of them. The smallest gets one pump of the oil and the rest get 2 to 3 depending on their weight. Very economical in the long run because of the problems it solved with itchy skin and hot spots and dryness from those conditions.
I feed a high protein, low carb, and grain free feed and this supplement only. For us, it worked much better than the plain salmon oil and they tolerated it better. Salmon oil gave some of them loose stools, but this blend has never upset any of their stomachs.I have been giving this oil to my 13-year old arthritic Siberian Husky for about 2 months now. He has been getting some type of fish oil for about a year. This oil has made the biggest and most noticeable difference in his mobility. With cheaper oils he improves but still needs occasional anti-inflammatories to keep him from limping and getting too stiff. With this oil he doesn''t need the meds, and he has been moving easier and faster on our walks. He doesn''t limp even after a 2-hour hike on hilly terrain.
He also gets monthly Adequan shots and it really seems to be the combination of the fish oil and the Adequan that keeps him moving at this level. But I definitely have noticed a difference with the different brands of fish oils I have tried. This and Nordic Naturals (the stuff for humans, not the kind for pets) have been the best by far. I highly recommend this product.
