SKS Cagebox Storage Container

Ive tried several solutions to keeping my tools, etc. in my bottle cage. Most have trouble keeping their lids on during aggressive trail riding. This SKS Cagebox is good. The lid stays on well and there''s a lot of space in the bottle. I carry an inner tube, a patch kit, an inflator, two CO2 cartridges, a derailleur hanger, a and multitool; there''s space for all that with some to spare. I don''t like the orange lid, but that''s vanity.

I don''t like to carry my stuff in my pack because it adds extra weight between me and my saddle. I just stuff the Cagebox and leave it on the bike. It''s always there when I need it. I put a toe-clip strap around the cage to keep the Cagebox secure.

Works as advertised! Plenty of room for a spare tube, pump, tools, and more... Comes with a fabric pouch to keep things from rattling, which is nice. Love the fact that I can quickly interchange from bike to bike (I have several)... Very stable in the bottle cages and can be strapped down via the hole in the lid... I mainly roadbike, so no need for a strap. Not sure it was worth the price paid, but love the convenience!

This tool box is larger and cheaper than the alternatives. In mine, I have a spare tube, a couple of CO2 cartridges, a tool pouch and a first aid kit. I''ve had it for about a month and it''s never moved from the bottle rack or fallen out even when the bike is upside down or racing over rough MTB trail. Pack everything tight enough so it doesn''t jingle jangle. 5 stars!

Better than having a bike wedge. Great product. Bag keeps your stuff rattling inside. More colors would be great. Nicely priced too.

Its great to have a place to put my keyes and wallet when I go for a ride instead of worrying if they are going to fall out of my pocket. The only issue is that it takes the place of your water bottle. Unless you have another bottle holder or a camelbak, you will find yourself thirsty.
