Sistema Twister Bottle Aqua

I was compelled to write this review after reading a previous review where someone wrote:

"We bought these for our kids, and while they are very easy for them to use, they leak if left sideways (when closed). Although they are dishwasher safe, after 2 washings they have developed a funny smell and after-taste when filled with water."

The reason my wife arrived home yesterday (Purchased locally and not here on Amazon) with a third Sistema Twist''n Sip bottle is because we use them so often we wanted an extra one in rotation. We put them in the dish washer all the time and have not experienced any smells or after tastes, as described by the previous reviewer . As for the leaking, I am not sure why they had a problem, because we use these bottles all the time and they DON''T leak.

My daughter likes the open and close twist and seems to drink more water when I give her these bottles verses any other type.

I would certainly recommend giving these Sistema Twist ''n Sip bottles a try.

Purchased these bottles originally on a visit to New Zealand. Was so excited to be able to find them available on Amazon. They are light weight and perfect to put in the kids lunch boxes or in my bag when we go out. Easy manipulation of the lid and super easy to clean. Great product.

I have bought a lot of containers for my kids to carry their drink with lunch. For some reason, nothing EVER seemed to be leak proof until this bottle came along. It''s the perfect size and it actually DOES NOT leak. It''s the best drink bottle I''ve ever come across and it is very reasonably priced.
