My boyfriend and I bought two 40-oz Together Bottles and love them! We''ve used them every day since they arrived. They are very sturdy yet lightweight, and the fact that the mouth is wide enough to put ice cubes in is a huge plus! The enamel on mine (I bought a blue one) has gotten a little scratched, but I''m not exactly gentle with it. Great for hiking or simply taking to school or work (but note that the 40-oz size is too large to fit in most standard cup holders or bike holders.) Also, the water tastes fantastic--no strange flavor--and stays cold a good long while. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase, especially since other steel bottles frequently sell for twice this price!

I was happy to find a large style of what has become a very popular type of canteen. Also purchased a sport top style lid and an insulated carrier for ease of transport. Look forward to using this through out my life as I camp and hike regularly for fun. If you had to draw water from a questionable source you can boil water in this bottle to make safe for drinking. The manufacturer will advise against this as it changes the integrity of the steel. Necessity in mind, worrying about the bottle versus staying hydrated makes the decision a simple one. As usual, Amazon prices can''t be beat. Get this for your survival/ camping gear.

Best price and quality for such a large size item. This will fit most commercial workout machines'' water bottle holders. I wanted something with a screw top, and this fit the bill perfectly. Nice manufacturing and a solid performer. Highly recommended :)
