I like this cap very much, as it does not require me to keep a small carabiner on it that rattles around all day like my original SIGG cap did. Also, I am known for accidentally leaving my SIGG bottles capped for weeks at a time. With the original SIGG caps, this results in a permanent black moldy/mildew substance in the rubber gasket that stinks badly. I have tried everything from bleach to boiling water and nothing will remove it. This UCO cap uses a different gasket that seems to keep this from happening in the first place. The cap is awkward to use, though, because of the excessive number of threads. It literally takes twice as many turns to put the cap on as compared to the original SIGG cap. I take these bottles everywhere, and in business meetings taking the cap on/off my bottle draws attention because I''m sitting there cranking on it for what seems like a long time.

This is not a SIGG product, which is not made clear in the description. The one I received is made by Industrial Revolution out of China.

The cap was also flawed the metal clip was installed crooked and would not line up to close.

This is on my 5th Sigg bottle, this time a 1.5L traveller. It fits the bottle and the clip seems sturdy. I like to take my bottle with me to lots of places and I have used a carabiner in the past to attach it to my person, but I always have to look around for a carabiner. I don''t have to look for one anymore!
