The cage is not stiff enough. The bottle will fall out under mildly bumpy terrain. It would probably work fine for a road or comuter bike but not a mountian bike.

No trouble with the bottle, a Camelback Podium, staying in the cage on my mountain bike. I think you can bend the frame a bit, should you need to, to make the bottle tighter. Blackburn also provides excellent customer service, should you ever need it.
