I consider the waist belt to be quite comfortable. I have a 36-38" waist and the length of the belt was more than adequate and left room for adjustment. I would have liked to see a little more storage space for odds and ends but at least there is -somestorage space. Maybe enough to stow your keys, some gel packs or snacks, small mp3 player, etc. You won''t be packing a rainshell, t-shirt or anything like that though.
Seems to be well-made and I can''t really fault it in any way other than I wish it had just a bit more storage space. But some people may actually prefer that it is this way.
It''s a good value and does what it its supposed to do. A solid 4+ stars.

Trained for and ran my first marathon Nov. 09 using this belt. I live in SE Asia and even though I run very early in the morning, the humidity takes a lot out you. This belt has been the most comfortable of anything I''ve used, no bouncing or chafing even during the marathon. It has just enough pocket space for my use; I usually bring a cell phone, a GPS receiver, and power bars on longer runs.I have had the straws drop out of the cap a couple of times but has not been that big of a deal to me. I also don''t like the bouncing of the bottles in the holsters as mentioned by a previous reviewer. It only seems to do it when the bottle are full and they have never come close to bouncing out. I have thought of putting a thin sock over the bottle to tighten up the fit, but that might cause troubles when taking them in and out.
I really like the design of the bottles too. not having to tilt my head back while running trails and/or in traffic has been a real advantage for me.
I went ahead and gave it 5 stars in spite of the bottle/holster issue. This belt has really worked well for me.

I bought the Stamina II for hiking Pinnacle Peak in Scottsdale. It is an 1 hour long hike on a moderate trail with a 1300 foot elevation gain. It is mostly hard packed dirt, gravel and some small rocky sections. The bottles perform as advertised. They don''t leak and the bite valve makes it very easy keep your eyes on the trail. You simply bite on the mouthpiece and suck. You can also turn the top to "lock" so you can throw it in the car and not worry about leakage. Mine didn''t leak even when in the "open" position.
My biggest complaint that I have is that the bottles don''t fit snug enough in the holster. When I jog the downhill part of the trail the full bottles slide up and down in the hoster a few inches. It''s very annoying and if I am not careful I will eventually lose a bottle.Like the product, been using it for awhile now, and get positive comments from people on the bike trail. Only negative I can think of is I wish it had insulation on the water bottles, if you put ice in it, it melts really fast. Otherwise, great product.
