Nalgene Hose Kits and Valves

I have a High Sierra Rogue 2-liter pack, and the bite valve quickly started spouting without me biting, getting my shirt and shorts soaked and draining my water faster than necessary. I also have a Camelback 1.5 liter that was hard for me to get the water out of fast enough. The Nalgene (they make BPA-free bottles) bite valve dispenses the perfect amount of water. You can also buy the plastic outer part separately, instead a whole new valve. I wound up getting some extras, and replaced one already after my kids were using the valve and were biting down too hard, making a small hole in the sleeve. So this fits both my High Sierra and Camelback packs...tubes seem to be the same throughout the various model lines...so I would assume you can use this bite valve with all packs. If it doesn''t fit for some reason, Nalgene would probably take it back as a return. I bought my first through Amazon, and the second through Nalgene directly.

got the wrong mouthpiece which leaked and didn''t fit the hose properly and Amazon credited me so I could get this one, which fit perfectly

Arrived quickly and is exactly as pictured & described. Was a bit hard to take the old valve off and put the new one on, but very secure now. This is really great for tucking under my helmet so I can drink while riding without having to take my hands off the bars.
