I bought a Jansport "fanny pack" 17 years ago and it featured a pair of these CA Springs bottles. The originals finally died of old age last summer after a long and rigorous life. Other format bottles would not stay put in the fanny pack holsters and I was thinking of replacing the entire unit because I couldn''t find replacements w/ these deep "shoulders". On a lark, I looked up CA Springs and was pleased to find them still in the bottle business! These are exact replacements and will probably out-live the fanny pack and my old hikers knees, HA!

The 4 bottles were delivered very promptly. They are an excellent fit in a TA steel bottle cage and have no plastic taste even after sitting over night. The plastic is flexible, the cap is tight and leak proof and the bottle design allows for easy grasping from the downtube location of the bottle cage. An outstanding product and highly recommended if you need a traditional style water bottle.
