I was extremely excited about this item as I am a huge drinker of water. I am the guy who you will always see with his Kleen Kanteen walking around everywhere. The only problem is, once your Kleen Kanteen runs out of water (I filter my water at home and bring it) you''ve got nothing! That is why I was pumped about this portable filter. The filter claims to do an great job of filtering out most of the chemicals and pollutants that one would worry about. Most other portable filters only filter out chlorine and lead. This one does it all, which is great! No other portable filters claim to filter out more stuff (and they are NSF certified). The only problem is, it''s nearly impossible to drink from the bottle! there is a plastic spout from which you are required to suck from to get the water out, but half the time water does not come out! It just makes a hollow whooshing sound, there is some bubbling, but no water! Plus when I drink, I like to drink. I am not looking to take teeny tiny sips all day long. Also, the construction of the bottle is somewhat cheaply made. The lid area is entirely made of what looks like plastic that has been painted so durability of the lid may end up being an issue. I enjoy the fact that the bottle is entirely stainless steel, though. I will be following this company as I think they are on the right track, and future products may be worth while. If they can just improve on a few key factors such as water flow, and lid constructing this would be the best portable water filtration device on the planet!

Many people have complained about the straw filter how they hate having to suck through the straw. I don''t mind sucking through a straw it it means my health and you get used to it. This is a top quality product. For anyone traveling or living in 1st or 3rd world I strongly recommend this product. Not to start a rant or anything fluoride is definitely poison.
