XLC Handlebar Mount Bottle Cage Black

I recently was able to move my lights from my handlebar to my forks. I also have my bike computer mounted to my stem. Aside from my controls, the handlebar is completely open. I recently purchased a frame bag that obscures my bottle cage frame mounts, so I found this handlebar mount and thought I would try it out.

Well, I love it. Having your bottles right on your handlebar is incredibly convenient. In fact, I just ordered a second cage to mount on the other side of the handlebar.

Having said all of that, mine is a unique situation. Most folk are going to have space constraints on their handlebars or they aren''t going to like the aerodynamics of a bar-mounted cage. In fact, if not for my frame bag blocking my stock cage mounts, I would have never used this product.

I''m happy I did. The convenience of having your bottles on the bar is almost good enough to get these cages even if you have usable frame mounts.
