The photo (and at least one review) indicates that the holster will be a stretch material, implying that the bottle will be held firmly in place. Instead, the holster was plastic. I tried it on a 12 mile run; three times during the run a bottle popped out of the holster. Item was not as advertised and also not effective. I don''t want to have to worry about losing my water bottle during a run.

I bought 2 of these to add on to my Nathan 2-bottle belt. The loop is just the right size to fit the Nathan belt. The elasticized bottle holders hold the bottle well and I don''t feel the bottle bouncing while I''m running. The bottle does leak while I''m drinking from it; I''m not sure if it''s worse when I squeeze the bottle. Overall I''m happy since I don''t think there were other options for me to add on to my Nathan belt.

I bought this to add onto a Nathan belt as a 3rd bottle for hot running days. The stopper is tough to pull out but I''m sure it will be easier to do with usage. I find the holster takes 2 hands to get the bottle out and put it back because the straps are tight. I''m sure it will also get easier with usage. You can also add this to a regular belt for walks, quick runs, or cutting the grass. That is what makes it so good.

I have put this bottle holder on my Nathan running belt. It fits on there nicely and doesn''t bounce. Since the bottle is only 8 oz., I am going to try to fit a 10 oz. bottle in there. The bottle holder is thick elastic which I believe would probably accomodate a slightly larger bottle. However, I''ll repost if the elastic doesn''t hold up.

I haven''t run any marathons or even half marathons yet, but I run a lot of 5Ks and I always get very thirsty, so I got this thing for water to tide me over during the race. At first it annoyed me bouncing around, but after I took a few sips of water and after the first 1 K, I didn''t even notice it. When I do start running further I will try it with gel and other fuel and let everyone know my thoughts. Hopefully that will be soon!!
