The product would be better if it had a second point of attachment to the strap to better hold the intended water bottle. As it is, it feels more like a billiard pocket dangling/bouncing off the strap of my large Sealline Urban Backpack. The plus side to it is that doubles as a pouch to quickly store & access my keys, MetroCard, train tickets, beach pass and my iPod Nano with earphones while traveling.
The product did not fit my Nalgene 32 oz bottles well, seemed too short. The retainer mechanism on the back is odd, not very compatible with non Sealine products. I sent it back.
