Four stars because this is such a pretty water bottle. The pale pink silicone sleeve and the modern top almost make me want to display it. People even comment on it when they walk in my office.

But for the weight (heavy glass), it really doesn''t hold much water. I''ve decided it''s not worth the weight of schlepping two water bottles to work, so I use this one when going on errands. For work, I now use an empty glass quart-sized milk bottle. Sometimes the top leaks, but it''s still a better solution for me.

I used to depend on SIGGs, but after the first round when they found BPAs in their bottles, I lost a little confidence. I did invest in a few bottles for the kids and me with their new lining, and I still use those as back up. But there''s nothing like glass. No BPAs, no nothing.

I''ve also purchased Lifefactory water bottles. (Available at Amazon.) They are terrific. The glass is thinner. They have a silicone sleeve (with lots of holes, so it''s easier to check the water level). The have a variety of tops--screw and sippy (more like chuggy). They come in a variety of colors. My kids (ages 6 and 8) really like them. We have two different sizes. My son broke one, but they really seem very durable for the most part.

The bottle washes very well on the first level of the dishwasher. I never try to peel the silicone off because I don''t think I could put it back on.

I would recommend this water bottle. Seal is tight, no water leakage when I bring in my bag to work.
