For a bottle holder, this works fine...just like any other bottle cage of similar construction and design. However, the color is off. The red is closer to a metallic pinkish-purple. I recognize computer monitors don''t necessarily show the true color of a sample, but the picture shows a fire engine red color...that is definitely not the color of the product. I also purchased a yellow and a black cage (same brand)...their colors are true to what is shown for the picture.

For 3.99 a cage, these can''t be beat. Nothing fancy, not the lightest, but a simple, time-tested design. As an added bonus, they are the right shade of celeste to match my Bianchi.

Saw these at the LBS for $10 each.
