S''well Stainless Steel Insulated Water Bottle (17 Ounce)

Swell 17 Ounce Stainless Steel Insulated Water Bottle in Silver LiningMy interest was piqued when I seen this bottle and it''s claims. Here''s what I found out.

+

Held liquid cold for 8-9 hours, bottle was in 70 degree room.

Held liquid hot for 7 and 1/2 hours, would probably have been longer if I would have prepped the bottle (preheated).

Easy to drink from.

No water condensation on the outside.

No leaks from the cap and is easy to use, nice seal.

Bottle is VERY slippery, has been dropped multiple times, especially when you wear synthetic gloves. A retaining loop (i.e. Nalgene) would have helped resolve this, the high speed piano gloss finish doesn''t aid this.

Bottle dents easily, falls were from waist level in the office and out in the parking lot.

If you have an ice maker that makes crescent style cubes than this bottle likes you, if not then only fill your ice trays half full so they fit into the bottles opening.

If your vehicle has an adjustable beverage holder this bottle likes you, if not it will rattle/move about.

Overall I''m happy with the Swell bottle, it works for what I need. 4 stars

I bought a bottle exactly like this on vacation in UAE. Unfortunately, mine was taken at the gym. Looked everywhere to find one similar, and Amazon was able to help me out. It really is a good investment. They''re long lasting and the 24/12 hours is very accurate, most vacuum seal bottles don''t keep drinks hot/cold for more than an hour, maybe two. I definitely recommend this product!

It keeps water cold all day, i can throw it I my bag and not worry about it spilling, it''s somehow lightweight, it''s a cool color, AND it helps the environment as well as helps those in need? This really is the best find I have come across probably ever. Yes it''s pricy but totally worth it. I got mine using an amazon gift card someone gave me and a week later bought two more for Xmas gifts. I wish there was a cheaper smaller kids version. All 3 of my boys put it on their Xmas lists. I would also suggest an accessory that attaches so you can clip it to a carabiner or something.

THUMBS UP!!

I searched EVERYWHERE for a quality thermos for my newborns diaper bag. I wanted something 16 ounces or smaller, no straw, no spout, no cup and slender enough to stow in a bag already packed with other essentials. I''m an active mom who hates the idea of being tied down with bottle feedings -this bottle enables me to run daily errands and travel around for a few hours. I simply heat fresh, purified hot water at home and it''s ready when I need it to mix a bottle of formula or gently heat a pre-pumped breast milk bottle on-the-go. One would think this type of baby thermos would be easy to find but it isn''t! In fact, I don''t think one exists! It''s sleek and simple design is exactly what I was hoping to find, and it fits perfectly in my modest sized diaper bag. It''s even slender enough to fit into my purse. I highly recommend it!

Let me start by saying that the S''well bottle company is a stand up company. When I first bought the water bottle it was defective and had condensation on part of the bottle. After emailing the company to tell them about my situation they promptly sent a bottle that worked. That made me feel like they really cared about their consumers. Having great customer service is something a lot of companies are lacking nowadays.

I went through many other duds before finding this bottle, that would leak, sweat, or not keep my water cold.

Being a student, this bottle works great for me since I carry it in my backpack. It never leaks and the cap is designed in a very thoughtful way. I''ve had my bottle for well over a year and it still keeps my water very cold! I have the shiny black bottle and always get complements on the sleek design.

Another thing I''ve noticed is with my other cheap stainless steel bottles they would get some kind of growth inside (even with consistent washing). That would be my sign to buy a new bottle. However, with this wonderful bottle I have yet to see anything start to accumulate on the inside. My guess is due to the quality of the stainless steel?
