I bought four of these bottles for the kids and one for myself. You have to squeeze a trigger to get a mist much like a spray bottle so it''s not a continuous mist. Once primed it gives off a nice mist over 14 inches high. Where this bottle misses is on the sipper portion, all four had a valve that would not stay open while drinking. To get more than a few drops to come out, you have to put your mouth over the valve and suck the water out, and with any pressure and while you''re sucking on it, the valve will close up making you continuously having to open it up for more water. The sipper valve is also wider than most other bottles I have coming in at just under an inch wide. For those with bike cages, this bottle will loosely fit in a standard cage. So if you mainly want a water bottle to drink from and a mister as a nice to have, look elsewhere, but if you want a mister and drinking water is secondary as it is now with the kids, this isn''t bad.

Worked really well, but as you would expect, the water doesnt stay cold for long in the hot heat in a plastic bottle. But it was refreshing. The pump action was surprisingly sophisticated. There is a lot of technology packed in that bottle. Perfect for a theme park day!

My 8 year old daughter loves this bottle due to the mist function. The mist is surprisingly fine, you don''t get soaked.

We use it for water only and as can be expected it doesn''t stay cold for long.

This is called a hydration bottle, which seems to imply that you can use it for any beverage. I would recommend that you stick with water. I tried using hot coffee with this and the mist feature burned my face and was not very refreshing. Similarly, avoid using it with alcoholic beverages. I think the guy on the treadmill next to me noticed the whiskey smell when I sprayed it on my face. It was refreshing, but I was hoping it would be a little more discreet. I''ve also tried it with Gatorade. It gives you the same kind of effect as their ads where it looks like you''re sweating fruit punch or lemon lime, but in practice this gets sticky and is annoying after a few minutes. The ''Don''t just sip, MIST'' sticker peels off and can be re-used again and again on glass or plastic surfaces. I''ve applied to my salad dressing spray bottle to help remind myself not to drink all my salad dressing.

Purchased eight (8) of these O2Cool sip n/ mist bottles and six of eight can''t mist anymore. Basically, works great until mister cap pops off. If you can save the two small parts it can be reassembled, although will likely pop off again. Since the parts are small they get lost easily and your stuck with a plain water bottle.

Not a good value for the money.

UPDATE contacted customer support at O2cool and after shipping them our broken ones, they sent replacements.
