I was super excited about this product. I had been using plastic filtered bottles and wanted a healthier alternative so I opted for the stainless steel. This seemed to fit the bill for everything I was looking for and the description and details made it sound wonderful! The product worked like it said and I was happy. Water tasted great and I could drink the tap water without the chemicals and without that plastic taste.
I made the item for about 2 weeks when it broke. While drinking from it I felt something come to my lips. I looked into the mouth piece and a small black part had come off from the inside! I contacted the company to see if I could get a replacement since the papers it came with a 90 day guarantee, but no one has emailed back and it has been about a week.
I will be sending it back to try a similar item by a different company.I almost didn''t order this product because of the comments about how hard it was to get the water out. Well, it''s all in how you TILT the bottle! The instructions tell you to tilt the bottle 45 degrees and to suck as using a straw. The filter is at the bottom of the container, and obviously, if you tilt the bottle way up, as we normally do with a water bottle, the filter will be at the top and the water at the bottom and you will be sucking air! Remember that you are basically drinking from a bottle with a straw and that 45 degrees is just a slight tilt (and don''t go so far as 45 degrees). When you keep the filter in the water, there is no problem!
The shape of the bottle is easy to hold and fits perfectly into the cup holders in our cars, without being wobbly. The water is fresh tasting and I don''t mind filling my bottle from any source with this bottle. When you have the right tilt, the water flows easily from the bottle without effort. This is really a great product.
If you are looking for a bottle to use to pour filtered water into another container, however, this one won''t work. This bottle is strictly for drinking by sucking up the water.

I don''t really use it anymore because it is so hard to suck the water up the straw. I just got a plastic BPA free filter water bottle where you can tilt and squeeze the water into your mouth through the filter. That is a lot easier. I really wanted stainless steal so to avoid plastic altogether but it just isn''t really that practical.Read Best Reviews of Seychelle 27oz Stainless Steel Regular Water Filter Bottle (Red) Here
