I use the 10" x 4" Maxpedition Bottle Holder to fit a Guyot Designs Backpacker Stainless Steel Bottle, 32-Ounce that is nested in a GSI Outdoors Glacier Bottle Cup/Pot 18fl oz. This combination fits extremely well. It leaves enough room to keep an emergency blanket and compass nested on top of the bottle.

The front pocket holds a signal mirror, duct tape, purification tablets and a Swedish Firesteel Army model.

I bought add ons of a 1.5 inch shoulder strap with a shoulder pad and two Maxpedition COCOON POUCH #153; Khaki which are 2 inches in diameter and 8 inches long. These products make the water bottle a great modular system to add and delete items as necessary based upon your needs.

The price could be better but it''s Maxpedition so your getting quality material. I make fruit and veg smoothies for my lunch at work. This is made for a nalgene bottle but I use a insulated Klean Kanteen. The material is strong and long lasting. The zippered pocket in the front carries a good amount. Lots of webbing so you can attach other bags/containers to it. Wish it had a strap but I braided some 550 cord to make one. Love this bag.

this little pouch is great! fits a 32oz nalgene bottle snugly and still has room at the top. the insulated liner on the inside of the pouch is great for all day hikes and you want to keep your water cool. the drainage grommet at the bottom puts one at ease knowing that their pouch will not mildew from the condensation from your bottle. it has a 5in attachment area on the back but could if preferred be attached by either of the sides as well. Buy this pouch!
