This is the perfect size for kids; however, the cap needs some redesigning. First of all, it shouldn''t be plastic. Next, the lid top is difficult for little hands to pull on and off.

Overall, I like the bottle -I just leave the lid off with the cap pushed closed. I''ve used it a dozen times and it has not leaked.

I wish I had seen that warning about the leakiness before I bought mine! It leaked water in my bag and fried my cellphone. Needless to say, I am extremely unhappy at this point as I need to go buy a new phone tomorrow unless the air conditioner manages to suck the moisture out of the non-functioning keypad. This cap stinks! It is a slow leak, so if you are just throwing it in a gym bag or beach bag, I guess it''s OK, but don''t put it in any bag with anything that needs to stay dry.

This is a nice little water bottle. It is made of thinner stainless steel than the Kleen Kanteen bottles, so it is lighter, but may be slightly less durable. The lids are interchangle with the Kleen Kanteen lids.

I got one for my older son''s lunch box. Now that I really understand the lid design we have no leaking problems. There is a tiny, clear (silicone?) "nipple" that pokes up next to the sports top spout. It can be pressed down to make the water flow more readily (like, super easily) through the sports top. If it is set that way, it will leak. Just push that nipple up from underneath, and no leaks. I check this after I wash the bottle each time. I feel better about my son using this bottle, I feel better about our environmental impact, and the price is not bad! I am ordering one for my younger son now.
