M-Wave Clip-on Bicycle Handlebar BagAt first sight, its HUGE. I actually liked the size since I ride with several young people at a time and for long distances. I have to carry everything we need. Water, sunscreen, snacks, etc... The main compartment is large enough to hold more than 6 water bottles inside plus there is more room in the other pockets. However, the construction of the bag was not strong enough to support the weight of only 4 water bottles. The support to help stabilize the bag broke as soon as I hit a good bump. I now have a useless bag.

I had problems fixing the thing, because my handle bar is (normally large but) too large for the fixture. Also, the fact that the bag can only be colsed by a zipper isn''t really convenient. But then, it is relatively cheap and has a good size.

I read some of the other complains about the plastic brackets so I was careful not to tighten them down too much. You don''t really need it SUPER tight since it has an arm that helps support it and keeps it from moving anyway. You could fit a TON of stuff in it but I make sure nothing I put in there is extremely heavy (which is for the bag as much as for it making it harder to turn the bike at higher speeds with that much weight on the front). I had plenty of room for my drink, snacks for the kids, hand wipes, tissues, trash bag, all the necessities when riding with a family. You could pack a lunch in it if needed and the shoulder strap is great for carrying it to the picnic tables from your bike. I think my favorite part was the "map" pocket on the top...I used it to put my iPhone (and/or kid''s iPod''s) so I could see it from my bike...I could even use headphones with it in that pocket, it kept my phone clean, and the touchscreen worked just fine through the plastic without removing it. All in all I really like this bag so far. I even like that I can remove it on days when I don''t need to haul it! At $20 it is a really great buy for a family that rides on the weekends and needs to take a few extra things with them.

I used this handlebar bag daily for almost a year. I had the plastic strap rings break, the top panel buckles under the weight of a little rain, and leaks, nor is the front pocket water resistant. The bag is not appropriate mere modest rain, is uncomfortable to wear, and the inner cardboard is a bit inconvenient, it''s round, and so you''re denied the full floor area of a the bag. I packed all my items in ziplock bags when using this handlebar bag and just expected any maps I put in the top window to get mushy. I especially don''t like the handlebar mounting hardware the brackets are made for really skinny handlebars, and I had to rasp out the pvc brackets, which are prone to splitting around the screws, and the lower flange that is supposed to be zip-tied to the quill neck has also broken on me if not firmly zip tied. This bag wasted a lot of my time.

However, it does hold a six-pack of bottles and a large bottle well, and it cheap as dirt. So if you have the time to make it work for you, it might have much better value in a drier climate than in the Pacific Northwest.

UPDATE:

As many others on here have mentioned, the plastic supporting hardware is very bad. the plastic bracket that holds it on to the bike broke in less than one month of use. I am realy disapointed because I like everything else about this bag. But the plastic support broke making it comletely

useless in a few weeks.

I like the size of this bag. There is a place to put a map. Just be careful installing the plastic "thing" that is used to

clip the bag on. Do not tight the screws too tight. I broke the plastic by tighten the screw a bit too much.
