I purchased these prior to going on a 4-day cruise. Let me tell you, this was the best $30 I have spent in a long time! We filled the bags up according to directions (only 3/4 full) and packed the bags in our CHECKED luggage. We were able to get just about 4 5th''s on. When we arrived to our room, there our luggage was, with NO issues! Others on the boat had their luggage searched, not ours! This amount was PLENTY for three people. I recommend these to any one going on a cruise who wants to save $$$These things are AWESOME! Not only was I the only one to successfully sneak my booze onto the Carnival Cruise ship, I was even able to sneak anything that was left over off the ship as well. They may not be invisible to x-Ray machines, but they sure don''t raise any alarms causing the tech to pull the bag for closer inspection. I even used the smallest of the bags for a pocket carry-on of some Vodka so I could mix my own drinks while waiting for the stewards to prepare our cabin. A real money saver! The group of people I went with tried the old vodka in the water bottles trick (even with glued on caps). They all got confiscated. Including the people that put booze in other bottles. All found, all confiscated except my Rum Runner flasks. At first they all laughed at my crazy little plastic bags, but now they are all going to order them for the next cruise. These things do stand on their own when they have liquids in them. The caps stay on nice and tight, and most of all....they do not leak. The only tricky thing is cleaning and drying them. But after sitting in a low humidity area for a couple of days, they dried out nicely and were put away for safe storage until the next trip. I recommend these to anyone that does not want to spend hundreds on watered-down cruise drinks.Buy Rum Runner Smuggler''s Revenge Kit Now
Carnival 5/31 sailing....checked in early in a day. I had 3 8 oz and the 32oz and Shampbooze sold here on Amazon. Ciroc in the Rum Runners and Pomegrante Martini mix in the Sahmpbooze. All in the same bag. Also to avoid being asked to clear your pockets, put the runners in your shorts and put a dress on over it that covers the fact that you have on shorts.Read Best Reviews of Rum Runner Smuggler''s Revenge Kit Here
I bought these to increase my odds of getting booze on the Carnival Dream 7-day cruise departing from Cape Canaveral on 5/26/12. We were cruising with 12 people. Two of us bought this kit and we were both busted. We both filled ALL FOUR of the large 1-Liter flasks with various top-shelf liquor and put them in our large suitcases that we checked upon arriving at port. We hid the flasks under clothes AND toiletry bags in each suitcase. When my buddy''s bag arrived at his room all four flasks were gone and a letter indicated they had found "prohibited items". Carnival disposed of the flasks and booze. Since I had put a lock on my bag I received a notice at my room indicating that security had my bag and needed me to unlock it for inspection due to prohibited items being seen during initial inspection. When I went down to security and opened the bag after a few minutes of digging they found the 4 flasks and took it all for "disposal".I''m not saying don''t buy these and don''t use them but we were not successful. The weird thing was that 8 other people cruising in our group used other containers for booze (water bottles and original liquor bottles) and put them into checked luggage and successfully got it all on the boat. The one exception was a girl in my room who had two 1-liter smart water bottles that were taken. BUT she also had a 1.75L bottle of rum still in the original bottle in the other side of her suitcase that they missed. She opened her bag in her room and found the rum still there but the smart water bottles were taken. That was weird. We decided they just missed the big bottle...
As far as we could tell the only difference among the people that got the booze on successfully and those that didn''t seemed to be the amount they tried to smuggle and the time that they arrived at port to check their bags. Everyone that got busted had 4 liters of booze and checked the bag early in the day (3 hours before departure). Everyone that succeeded packed no more than 2 liters and most of them checked the bag within an hour of departure. If I cruise again I''ll only try 2 liters and try to check my bag just before the boat is scheduled to leave port.
After all this we still had a great time. We also discovered that getting booze on after a day at port was easier than smuggling it in checked bags. Think camelbacks ;)I just got back from a seven day cruise for spring break. First cruise ever. I bought several flasks because I knew what our alcohol bill would be if I didn''t find a way to get some on the ship. I was nervous as hell!!!! BUT I took on several flasks, worked like a charm!!! Never an issue. I had them in four different bags, several in each, got through without any problem. My alcohol bill was still very high but this helped lol we partied!!!! So some may say we ripped the cruise off, whatever!!! We still spent around 2k on alcohol, so I dont think we ripped anybody off!!
