Innate Flow Controller

OK, so I''ve been using this in my innate water bottle for over a year now. It works wonders. However a little caveat. It will hold smells and to a lesser degree, flavors. I put beer in my water bottle and even after hot water and soap, I could smell the beer when I drank from my bottle. Same thing happened when I put watermelon juice in my water bottle. So just use it with water and you shouldn''t have the issue.

I gave it 5 stars because this is after all a water bottle flow controller, not a beer bottle flow controller, so my smell and taste observations are of no consequence. Works great to keep the water from splashing all over me when driving or hiking or whenever really.

I love my Innate water bottle and the flow controller really helps to not spill when getting a drink. Some people say it is hard to put in but I have no problems just hold it between your thumb and index finger and bend it a little bit to get it in there just right.

The one major drawback of the Innate V2 water bottles is the huge lid. It''s great for fitting ice in if you like your water cold like me, but not so good for drinking on the move. This little flow controller solves that problem perfectly!

However, it creates two more minor challanges. You of course can''t put ice in with the flow controller on. It''s hard to even get water in unless you have a small stream of water and precision aim. And if you pop it out to fill, it tends to be a pain to get it back in just right without pushing it in too far. It always seems to take me a couple tries to get it in just right.

Overall, it''s better than wearing my water but I do wish it was a little easier to put back in place, or perhaps just a little bigger to allow easier filling in place.

I suppose this would help if you put ice in your water bottle which is easy to do with such a wide mouth. However, I don''t use ice, so this controller proved pointless for me.
