I didn''t buy this because of some false notion of being "green", environmentally friendly, or anything like that... In fact its a bit silly to be marketed as such, considering how dirty the process of making plastics is.

With that said it works extremely well for cats. Its got a good capacity, and the price was right.

It doesn''t thread super tight to the base however, so the potential exists for it tipping or becoming separated, creating a spill, if used with a dog, or other pet large enough to bat it around.

For my uses however, it fit the bill.

The lack of one star is because it is not the color as pictured. The description has since been updated to reflect the fact that its blue... but when i got mine, it was with the assumption that it was dark green in color. That doesn''t really matter in the long run, but its a pet peeve of mine that products match their image/description, or state that the color will be random, so a buyer knows what to expect.

This was not as big as i thought that they were but it still works. I have to keep filling it up over and over. The other thing that I do not like about it is that the bottle dose not stay on the base.

disappointed in this product. bottle won''t sit strait on the bowl no matter what i do the bottle easily tips one way or another and spills water all over. Will have to replace it.

It is hard to get the bottle to sit on the bowl correctly when you fill the bottle up with water.

Got this for our chihuahua/jack russel cross. Perfect size. Be careful around other dogs though at any dog bigger than 10 lbs or so would easily destroy and/or knock this over.
