It leaks. The gasket on the top is clearly not correctly formed, so it leaks substantially. The threading that is used for the top is a fairly fine thread, so you have to spin it quite a bit to get it shut tight. The opening is fairly small. My old water bottle had a nice lip on the opening that made it easier to drink and also easier to insert the top. This one, not so much. Oh well, thought I would give it a shot for a few dollars and free shipping.

I found this held water. I wish it would be all aluminum the seal and the top is plastic. I tested it soon after it arrived found the seal to hold water when you cranked it all the way half way didn''t hold it unlike some others. The seal was not a full rubber seal it''s plastic on aluminum. There''s only two cons in my opinion is the wash ability of this container being such a small hole and the plastic possibly might be stripped or worn out after a few uses. So probably not dishwasher safe with the plastic top.

For the price its great. The only thing wrong is the cap not as sturdy. The bottle feel strong. Not sure if dent easy.
