Totally worth the expense. The Sigg bottles are the only ones we have found that do not leak, and are also easy for kids to open. It is also nice to get away from plastic. These newer generation Sigg bottles have a new protective cap that is hinged and flips out of the way. I much prefer these to the older versions, which my girls said would bump against their cheeks.
