Tandem Sports Pocket Pump

Pocket Pump Ball Pump with Air Release Valve, BlackI got my first Pocket Pump free with a subscription to Volleyball Magazine. That was back in 1997 and it lasted me until 2008, so enough said about the quality.

It isn''t great for pumping up a lot of balls (altough by necessity I have done this), it it is excellent for topping balls off.

The neck is flexible so I don''t have to worry about the needle bending when I am pumping up balls or when I throw it in my sports bag with all the other equipment.

The release valve is very simple to use. You just twist to release air or twist back to add air to balls.

I''ve used this little pocket pump for over 3 years now, still works even with a tremendous amount of use. The only drawbacks I see: 1)Does not store flat as it is bulbous in shape 2) Not good for massive volume, much better suited for topping off or perhaps one or two full inflations before your hand gets tired, not a problem if you have plenty of labor around. Definitely a recommended product.

I could not make this work for more than a couple of minutes. It did a poor job on a fairly small ball. Threw it out.

Purchased this item to "top off" balls for volleyball games that I officiate. The first time I used this pump I was nothing but disappointed. I was attempting to add .2-.3 lbs of air pressure to a volleyball. I pumped and pumped, eventually almost cramping my hand it seemed with no noticeable increase in ball pressure. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Great to keep a ball topped offed or to add a little air here and there. I wouldn''t want to have to air up multiple balls or even one ball daily with this pump, but it is great to have in the backpack to have when needed.
