I received this as a gift a few years ago and have taken it on many camping trips. It is made of very tough yet flexible plastic . Also, when full, it fits exactly inside a standard issue milk crate, which makes for easy carrying and storage in the back of a pickup.

Now, this water carrier is collapsible, which means it packs away easily when not in use, but it also means that structurally it is not very rigid. If you fill it up and put it in the back of a pickup and start heading down a winding off-road trail, this thing will roll around. That''s where the milk crate comes in. Or, you could just wedge it behind the seat or bungee it in place somehow.

Bottom line is, this water carrier is inexpensive and resists punctures. I''ve taken mine out to the boonies and back a bunch of times, and still no leaks.

This integrated handel water carrier is far better than the old style external handle model. The old style was not durable and would pull off unless supported underneath while carrying.

You have to be reasonable about how you are going to use this product. If you plan to slide it or drop it on the ground it will not work for you. It will get leaks. If you are carefull and want collapsible water containers that are lightweight and easy to pack, this is the ticket.

I ordered 3 of these for Burning Man. 1 of them already had a hole in it when I filled it halfway up for the first time. The other 2 filled up but within the first hour for BOTH, they started leaking. I didn''t bring any of these in the end because every single one started leaking. Would not recommend this item for anybody for anything. Beware before purchasing. Not only did mine leak but I had several friends who purchased the exact same ones for Burning Man and more than 60% of them leaked.

I bought it to haul water for a five-day trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Sadly, it sprung not one, not two, but THREE leaks the first time I filled it with water. By the third day, it was patched at every corner with duct tape. By the final day, it was in the trash. It wasn''t even worth returning. Bleh.

I purchased four and I am very happy. Two years later and I have used these for numerous camping occasions and many music festivals. I have them labeled so I use one for my shower tent, one is tap water for washing dishes and camping cleanups and two I fill with my purified water Zen System from home for consumption. This is far better than traveling with water bottles that will riddle our environment with wasteful plastic and they are very durable. I was a little hesitant they would tear or puncture easily, but they have yet to let me down. No leaks either. Two filtered water containers are filled at home and tap water containers are filled before venue at nearest gas station or at venue if offered.

The only con is there is no handle. I have a collapsable dolly so I stack and bungee, but carrying them takes two hands.
