Seriously, I''ve used this cage on both my ~$3k "budget" ~14-pound weight weenie builds, and there is simply not a better combination of light/cheap/durable on the market. These cages are every bit as light as the lightest Carbon cages you''ll find out there, and yet at a tiny fraction of the cost. On my most recent bike build, I''ve probably put 1,500 miles on the cages with no signs of wear and not a single dropped bottle. To be fair, they do seem a bit flimsy when screwing them onto your frame, but besides that, they do their job extremely well, and more so for the cost.
I had originally found these at Colorado Cyclist or Pro Bike Kit, and after not seeing them again at either source, had almost given up hope on finding them again until I stumbled the listing here at Amazon... Woohooo! I even bought two "spares" in case a purchasing resource goes missing again. Enjoy! This item was purchased to mainly accomodate a Delta AirZound Bicycle Horn air bottle. The price was right and exactly what I was looking for. 2-10" nylon tie straps used to secure the cage as the air bottle is plastic and practically wieghtless. If used to accomodate a full water or beverage bottle I would suggest using additional nylon straps or adjustable metal clamps.
