I needed a water bottle for work, so I did a search trying to find a reliable large sized bottle that would last for years on end. I found this bottle on the CamelBak website, and the cheapest price for this particular model was found here on Amazon.

It''s stainless steel and it holds 700ml of liquid. It''s hand wash only, not suitable for hot liquids, and not good for the microwave. All of these things are fine with me. The only thing you should be prepared for is that this thing sweats (condensation) all over the place. It''s not ideal for the work area because of this.

Otherwise, this is a great bottle. Excellent for cyclists, sturdy construction and no leaks (other than the condensation). Not recommended solely for work use. There''s a different bottle by CamelBak, which does not sweat, but only holds 500ml. As I have to walk to a very distant water refill spot, I need that extra 200ml. All in all, I still feel that this was a good purchase. The quality is excellent, and there''s a lifetime guarantee on the bottle as well.

**NOTE: My problem has been solved! I''m leaving this up here (with a revised star rating) in case it happens to others. If the bottle creates a vacuum inside, jam the straw up further. You might have to use some decent pressure to get it up push up. This solved the issue for me.**

Original Post: Maybe it''s just me. Other reviews for this bottle are fantastic. I have a Camelbak Groove at work and love it, and so decided to get an Eddy for home use. Although the bite valve is awesome, because there is no air hole, when you go to drink a vacuum is created in the bottle. Thus, nothing comes out. I''m shocked that this is an issue. I have to unscrew the lid to get anything up, I then leave it unscrewed, I knock it over...you see where this is going. I may as well just use a cup.

This bottle also has a lot of condensation, but that doesn''t bother me for my purposes. The lack of function does.
